Study Abroad Coordinator, St. Louis

Jennifer is the Study Abroad Coordinator at Webster University and has been in this role since November 2015.

She has worked in the field since 2008 and got her start as the Education Abroad Advisor for Murray State University where she gained invaluable experience in student advising, program development, and program leadership.  Jennifer now works closely with the Webster International Network of Schools (WINS) Program and loves collaborating with colleagues across the network to promote Webster’s study abroad opportunities. She advises WINS and visiting students on all programs.

Her other duties include:

• Coordinating and conducting recruitment visits to partner schools within the WINS Consortium
• Coordinating Webster international campus staff visits to the US for study abroad recruitment
• Managing day-to-day relationships with WINS partner schools
• Coordinating portfolio of study abroad and WINS marketing materials and outreach campaigns
• Managing the study abroad scholarship application process and leading the scholarship review committee

Jennifer studied abroad in Regensburg, Germany during her final undergraduate semester and, as they say, the rest is history. She remembers the exact moment that semester when she knew she wanted a career in study abroad – ask her about it sometime! She had an opportunity to study abroad again in graduate school and spent a summer in London, England. She has a bachelor’s in Political Science and a master’s in Human Development and Leadership, both from Murray State University (Go Racers!).
