We are delighted that you are considering the University of Roehampton for your Study Abroad experience! The sections below include essential information you need to know about the Study Abroad Program, but if you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact the Office of Study Abroad.

Why Roehampton?
The top modern university in the Complete University Guide in 2017, Roehampton's extensive teaching facilities, high-quality accommodation and social hubs sit comfortably within 54 acres of parkland, lakes and woodland, all situated only 30 minutes from central London. Roehampton has a 175-year history in providing higher education and is a welcoming community of 9,000 students from over 140 countries and from all types of backgrounds.

Academic Information:
The University of Roehampton offers a wide variety of classes across all departments to study abroad students. You can view and choose modules on their Study Abroad Module Catalogue. You can choose classes that relate to your major, minor or general education as long as you meet any pre- or co-requisites. Updated module information for the upcoming academic year is usually made available by mid-April.

Contact the Office of Study Abroad for questions regarding course equivalency or credit transfer.

Aside from the London Studies modules, all classes will be taken alongside full-degree University of Roehampton students to ensure you have plenty of opportunities to meet local students and fully integrate into campus life.

Webster and University Roehampton aim to provide a supportive living and learning environment promoting academic and personal growth and a sense of community among students. All students who study abroad at Roehampton are guaranteed housing in on-campus residence halls provided they apply by the deadline. Rooms are single occupancy, fully-furnished study bedrooms with shared kitchen facilities, Internet connection and optional private bathrooms. There are also plenty of cafés and diners on campus if you are unsure of your culinary skills!

The Roehampton Abroad team will apply for accommodation on your behalf. Costs for accommodation are billed to your student account. Prices are located in the program costs section of the Webster study abroad website.

Social Programme:

To help you immerse yourself in the cultural life of London and the UK during your time at Roehampton, the university offers the Roehampton Abroad Social Programme. The schedule is updated each semester and full details are sent out once you have been offered a place on the Study Abroad program.

Past events have included trips to Greenwich, Oxford and the Cotswolds, a weekend trip to York, plus walking tours, theatre trips and more!
