Study Abroad Scholarships

The following scholarships are offered by Webster University and are coordinated through the Office of Study Abroad. These scholarships are donor-funded and available specifically to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students at Webster University. Non-degree or visiting students are not eligible.

In order to be considered for any study abroad scholarship administered from the Office of Study Abroad, students must first complete an online study abroad program application. Some scholarships have specific GPA and/or academic requirements, but not all. See individual scholarship descriptions for specific eligibility requirements.

The scholarship committee selects recipients based on the information provided on the application, as well as enrollment history and demonstrated financial need. For U.S. students, demonstrated financial need is determined by information provided on your FAFSA.  International students are encouraged to apply.

Recommendation Letters:
Please note that the Next Century Leaders Endowed Scholarship and the Yakko and Richard S. Meyers Japan-United States Study Abroad Scholarship require a recommendation letter. The Dr. Neil J. George Endowed International Study Scholarship requires two letters of recommendation.

Before beginning an application, please review requirements for each scholarship.
